the Following Lenses

Single Vision

The single vision lenses have only one focus: for reading vision or distance. They are the simplest of all lenses.

Bifocals

The bifocal lenses have two prescriptions: one for distance and one near area for reading.
These lenses are normally used once someone reaches their 40's. It is a normal condition that occurs called presbyopia, which happens when the lens in the eye can no longer focus for near vision.

Trifocals

The trifocal lenses are similar to the bifocal lenses but they have three prescriptions:

• one for objects at distance,
• one for mid-range (computer distance) and
• one near area for reading.

Progressive - No-Line Bifocals

The progressive lenses are also called no-line bifocal lenses They have the same vision areas as the trifocal lenses but without lines.
Progressive Lens

The progressive lenses have three prescriptions:
• one for objects at distance,
• one for mid-range (computer distance) and
• one near area for reading.

These prescription zones are blended within the lens. No lines are seen. However, these lenses require more head movement and are not recommended for all prescriptions.
